Revised syllabus for the examination of Postmaster Grade I in Postal Wing

The syllabus for the Departmental Examination for filling up the vacancies in the Grade of Postmaster Grade I, has been revised by the Department, vide order No: 137-8/ 2009-SPB II, dated 07.03.2011. As per the revised syllabus, the examination will be held without the aid of books. There will be 2 papers and each paper will carry 200 marks each.

Revised pattern and syllabus for Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for the post of Inspector of Posts.

The Department, vide letter No: 7-14/ 2001- SPB-II dated 09.03.2011, has issued orders, revising the existing pattern and syllabus, for the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, for filling up the vacancies in the grade of Inspector of Posts. As per the revised pattern, the examination will be held without the aid of books and there will be only 4 papers and each paper will contain 150 Multiple Choice Questions.

Induction training for PAs at Trivandrum and PTC, Mysore - Allotment of Seats

The local training for the newly recruited Postal/ Sorting Assistants in Kerala Circle will commence at Trivandrum on 21.03.2011. The second training batch will be starting at Postal Training Centre, Mysore, from 28.03.2011. There will be 100 seats at Trivandrum and 150 seats at PTC, Mysore.

The candidates will be deputed for training, according to the merit in the selection list, without any break, from among those candidates whose verification of character and antecedents and verification of certificates relating to basic educational qualifications are completed.

Also, the senior most candidates in the selection list will be deputed for training at Trivandrum and the remaining candidates, out of the total number of seats allotted to divisions, are deputed for training at PTC, Mysore.
